Privacy Policy

Stay Ready Field Fuel Co. ("Stay Ready," "we," "us") is a small, hand-made performance-bar brand based in San Diego, California. This page explains, in plain English, what data we collect when you use stayreadysandiego.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and how to make us stop.

What we collect

When you reserve a bar (the form)

What you give us: your name, email, ZIP code (optional), and your bars-at-launch preference.
What our form host (Netlify) collects automatically: your IP address, browser type, and the URL that brought you to the form. This is to filter spam and bots.

When you browse

Google Analytics 4 (only if you accept analytics cookies): pages visited, time on each page, device type, country/region, anonymized IP. We don't combine this with form data.
Server logs: Netlify keeps standard server logs (IP, request URL, timestamp) for short periods to operate the site.

What we don't collect

We don't ask for your phone number, payment info, health data, location, or any sensitive personal information on this site. We don't run trackers without your consent.

How we use it

To email you when bars are ready (that's the whole point of the form).
To understand how the site is performing and improve it.
To respond to questions you send us.
Eventually, to measure ads we run on Meta, TikTok, and Google — only after you accept advertising cookies.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the services that help us run the site, and only as much as those services need to do their job:

We never sell your data to data brokers, never trade it for marketing lists, and never share it for purposes you haven't agreed to.

Your privacy rights — California (CCPA / CPRA)

If you live in California, you have the right to:

Know what personal information we collect about you and how we use it (that's what this page tells you).
Access the personal information we have about you — email us and we'll send it within 45 days.
Delete the personal information we have about you (with some legal exceptions).
Correct inaccurate personal information.
Opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising — click Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information in the footer, or email us.
Limit use of sensitive personal information (we don't collect any, but the right exists).
Non-discrimination — we won't refuse you service or change your terms for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise any of these rights: email luis@stayreadysandiego.com with the subject line "CCPA Request" and we'll respond within 45 days. We may ask you to verify your identity (usually by replying from the email you originally gave us).

Your privacy rights — EU / UK (GDPR)

If you're in the EU or UK, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. Email luis@stayreadysandiego.com to exercise any of them. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

How long we keep it

Form submissions: until you ask us to delete them, or until launch communication concludes and they're no longer useful.
Google Analytics data: default retention is 14 months, then auto-deleted.
Server logs: short periods consistent with Netlify's defaults.

Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data: HTTPS everywhere, reputable service providers, limited internal access. No system is 100% secure. If a breach affects your data, we'll notify you as required by law.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy meaningfully, we'll update the effective date at the top and post a notice on the homepage for at least 30 days.
